Occurrence remarks Gurgeena Conservation Park, Gurgeena Plateau; NE of Mundubbera. Open forest of Eucalyptus apothalassica, E. melanoleuca, Corymbia citriodora, C. trachyphloia, Allocasuarina inophloia, tall midstorey of Acacia spp. and Alphitonia excelsa, sparse grassy understorey with low bushes of Boronia glabra, ridge crest, lateritic scarp, duricrust, skeletal soil. Tree to 8m tall; bark fibrous stringy, brown; needles dull green; flowers red; fruit. Very common at locality.
