Habitat Flat plain, red-brown soil, a little to a lot hard when baked dry, but in very small depressions, some moisture had gathered (as at September 2009). A few scattered eucalypt trees, most roadside verges with no trees at all. Riverine plain grassland with cleared areas due to farming.
