Occurrence remarks Over 500 self-sown plants associated with several large mature planted trees 8-9 m tall. Mostly 0.5-1.5 m tall, but some to 7 m tall. Seedlings hard to pull up and break off just below surface. Large establishing population, extending over 80 m in extent with seedlings and young trees over 50 m from planted parents. Fruit not evident but many flower galls present. Self-sown tree from same population as PJL 2903 but c. 50 m E, sampled to show range of gall development stages.
