Habitat Brigalow/Belah woodland on plain. Along cleared edge of brigalow thicket in semi-shaded understorey and trackside. With Acacia harpophylla, Casuarina cristata, Apophyllum anomalum, Eremophila deserti, Maireana microphylla, Enchylaena tomentosa. Soils black cracking clay on metasediments.
