Occurrence remarks 21km NNW of Violet Vale Station homestead. Low open woodland of Eucalyptus pruinosa with a ground layer of Triodia pungens on an undulating tertiary remnant. Associated with Elytrophorus spicatus, Iseilema macratherum, Dichanthium sericeum subsp. polystachyum, D. fecundum, Echinochloa turneriana and Rhynchospora exserta. Erect sedge to 200mm in height. This species is common in gilgai at this location.
