Field notes | [Small sparse shrub, 5-10 ft high and 2 inches in diameter. Smooth brownish bark shed in narrow strips. Interior of calyx frequently (but not always) blood-red or rosy red; style also often completely red, sometimes half red and half green, sometimes also completely green.] |
