Occurrence remarks | Locally rare sedge with culms to ~70cm. ID by nut with obvious, persistant style base and smooth, laterally compressed culms and leaves. Brown fruits in heads subtended by brown, leafy bract. Seed collected from 3-4 plants. |

Supplied as "Swampy heath on cliff terrace. Plants all on small, wet ledges above track on damp S facing cliff. Disturbed by track. Approx 20 plants in population along 25m stretch of track. Soils skeletal, peaty colluvium on sandstone. With Gleichenia microphylla, Goodenia ovata, Pimelea ligustrina, Lepidosperma filiforme, Drosera binata as well as Callicoma serratifolia and Baeckea linifolia nearby." |
