Occurrence remarks | Locally common to locally abundant (>1000 plants inside and outside paddock) herb, mostly prostrate, but to 15 cm high. Plants spreading from a pale brown taproot. Stems pale brown. Leaves grey-green above, more grey below, mealy, although upper surface much less so on older leaves, leaf margins with widely spaced teeth that are red-tipped. Fruiting bracteoles with spiny margins and spines on the faces. Digital images with John Hosking. |
