Supplied as "Occuring over a vast area of at least 2 Ha on roadside reserve and extending into paddocks (roadside is not fenced here). 1000's of plants present; density varied but c. 80 plants counted in 1 square metre. Sandy clay loam soil varied from grey to red. Small rounded pebbles (c. 5 mm in diameter) were present in places where road-making machinery had disturbed the soil. Site appeared to have been a scald and would have been devoid of any vegetation in the recent drought. No trees or shrubs were present. The following species were recorded at the site: Arctotheca calendula, Atriplex leptocarpa, Atriplex pseudocampanulata?, Avena fatua, Brachycome sp., Bulbinopsis semibarbata?, Calotis scabiosifolia, Cotula bipinnata, Erodium crinitum, Goddenia pusilliflora, Hordeum leporinum, Lolium rigidum, Maireana pentagona, Mairean sp., Medicago sp., Myriocephalus rhizocephalus var, rhyzocephalus, Plantago sp., Podolepis muelleri, Rodanthe corymbiflorum, Senecio glossanthus, Sonchus oleraceus, Spergularia sp."
