Field notes Most plants apparently arising as suckers and from c. 5cm to 90cm tall; several larger plants to c. 3m tall, one to 4.5m tall and 15cm dbh with bark rough, dark grey, somewhat tessellated. Leaves and branchlets grey green. None fertile.
Occurrence remarks Season very dry. Colony of hundreds of plants extending along c. 60m on E side of road. Specimen includes sucker and branch from mature plant. Voucher for propagation material collected for the Australian Garden at RBG, Cranbourne. Field work supported by the Maud Gibson Trust. [Lat/Long 32 25 56.9 S, 138 22 43.9 E].
