Occurrence remarks | Trees and shrubs from 1m to c. 8m tall. Bark grey. Younger stems green, zig-zag with ridges at old leaf scars. leaves slender, reduced to tiny leaflets along an expanded photosynthetic rachis; subtended by recurved stipular spines. |

Event remarks | Mixed age stand comprising several mature trees and 12-15 juvenile plants. Growing in the shade of Leucaena leucocephala, Azadirachta indica, Nauclea orientalis and Euclaytpus camaldulensis on bank of Ord river. Silty clay loam soil. Property owner says that he has previously removed several large Parkinsonia trees from this site, but must have missed a couple of mature plants. |
