Field notes Pileus to 8 mm diam., dark brown, convex to hemispherical, sulcate, surface covered with fine particles. Lamellae sparse, 10-12 per cap, white, marginate, the edge matching the pileus in colour. Stipe to 4 cm long, less than 0.3 mm diam., lower half or lower 3/4 ths concolorous with pileus, the apical region pale, more like the lamellae.
