Occurrence remarks Slightly buttressed rain-forest tree 70 feet tall, bole 27 feet, circumference 35 inches. Bark slightly rough due to fine cracks and lenticels; patchy grey, brown and cream or mainly shading from cream to fawn. Scape green, blaze pale orange-straw with a very sweet smell of overripe pineapple. Wood cream, soft. Holes in bark with a stain of exuded yellow-brown gum. Crushed leaves not particularly fragrant. Crushed fruit with a sweet, slightly acrid smell. Fruit green with a 4-partite flower remnant subtending, +/- 4-apiculate, glandular, with acrid smell when crushed. Fruit in alcohol. ANHspirit 19272.
