Field notes Herb to 48 cm high. Stems and leaves dark green with erect curved white hairs. Involucral bracts mid green with spreading to erect curved white hairs. Ray florets mauve, disc florets yellow. Cypselas hairy all over with vertical lines on rounded faces.
