Locality | Cape Barren Island, Bass Strait. About 1.070 kms at 265 degrees from the summit of Mount Munro. The northern edge of a remnant strip of rainforest understorey along upper Centre Creek. 6 metres north of the runnel, over the edge of the fire of October 2006. |
Habitat |
Supplied as "Growing with {Pomaderris apetala} and {Bedfordia arborescens}, just south of the bottom of the low granite cliff that forms the northern edge of the base of the gully. These shrubs have survived numerous fires because of the cliff's protection. There are no rainforest shrubs in the often-burnt slope to the north. The original dominant cover, probably all {Eucalyptus globulus}, was killed >60 years ago." |
