Occurrence remarks | Widespread in reasonable sized colonies. Only just starting to flower; by far the majority were still in bud. It appears they will flower over several weeks, judging by the developmental stages of the buds. Frequently growing in {Kunzea pomifera}. Leaves: lanceolate, hairy, up to about 200mm x 15mm. Leaves drying off at this stage, if not already dry. Flowers: single flowers on a stem up to about 270mm tall; very hairy with long conspicuous hairs. A green flower with red veins and long flat clubs on the sepals; clubs on petals as well. |
