Field notes Small shrub to 1.1 m high in collection area. Young stems green with white hairs, less hairy with age and older stems grey and hairless. Leaves 1.5–2 mm wide and to 12 mm long, flat or with margins slightly incurved. Older leaves dark green, younger leaves pale green, retrorse appressed white hairs on lower surface initially but losing hairs with age, upper surface always glabrous, mucro at leaf tip obvious but not rigid. Stipules brown and contrasting in colour with upper stems. Calyx with outer surface glabrous and inner surface of mid line of calyx lobes with white hairs. Bracteoles at base of calyx with stipule-like structures, the leaf-like structure being hairy. Flowers remains and pods present. Pods green and glabrous.
