Occurrence remarks 62km SW of Eromanga, SW Qld. Plain. Red brown sandy loam, stony. Open shrubland to 3-5m tall. Canopy sparse, discontinuous and dominated by Acacia aneura. Patchy shrub layer to 2m tall. Open groundcover to 0.5m tall dominated by forbs including Sclerolaena muricata, Solanum ellipticum and Abutilon leucopetalum. RE: 5.5.2 Parasitic shrub on Acacia aneura. Stems grey brown, softly hairy. Leaves broad, elliptic, grey-green, 3cm long x 1.5cm wide, opposite, round tips, petioles to 5mm long. Flowers green, axillary, long stalks to 1.2cm long. Fruit elliptic, grey, 5mm long. Voucher for environmental study.
