Occurrence remarks Herb to 10 cm high. Leaves green above with scattered long appressed hairs; paler below with a dense covering of long appressed hairs. Tips of leaves blunt ended with a small mucro. Heads crowded at ends of branches. Involucral bracts silvery, base hairy, top hairless. Single bisexual disk floret with yellow stamens. Ray florets filiform
