Occurrence remarks Herb. Small tightly clustered stems, to 20 cm tall. Pale green hairy new stems. Older flowering stems less hairy. Clusters of mauve flowers at tops of older stems. Heavily grazed by herbivores. Cuttings from several closely adjacent plants. Population size ~ 30 x 40 m.
