Locality | Cape Barren Island, Bass Strait. About 553 m at 106 degrees from Phils Hill's summit. At the base of the eastern most granite bedrock face of the upper eastern spur of Phils Hill. |
Habitat |
Supplied as "Under a gap in the dominant layer (to c. 70%) of {Eucalyptus globulus} subsp. {globulus} and {Eucalyptus viminalis}. The understorey, burnt in October 2006, had one {Acacia verticillata}, two shrubs (? {Dodonaea} sp., an {E. viminalis} sapling and a {Bursaria spinosa}. The latter two are tillering. Now: {Goodia lotifolia} (to 2.7 m, c. 40%) and three sapling {Dodonaea viscosa} subsp. {spatulata}. Also {Lepidosperma elatius}, {Pteridium esculentum} (c. 20%), {Ranunculus sessiliflorus}, {Pelargonium inodorum}, {Veronica calycina}, {Cerastium} sp., {Crassula sieberiana} var. {sieberiana}, {Hydrocotyle hirta}, {Oxalis perennans} and an immature native grass." |
