Habitat |
Supplied as "In a small well-defined colony consisting predominantly of P. falcata. The P. tenuissima appeared to concentrate around the Leptospermums, with comparatively few elsewhere throughout the colony. The colony was situated in an extremely unlikely and inaccessible spot - largely overgrown with bracken and infested with various weeds which seemed to be threatening the colony itself. The plants, although in dense shade, were forced to grow amongst grass which occupied about 90% of the ground surface. The P. falcata seemed the most tolerant to this. Also, since they were growing so close to the junction of two creeks the colony was probably subject to frequent inundation." |
