Field notes Pileus 27 x 7 mm, slightly shallowly concave, viscid, translucent-striate at margin, dark green 26E7, margin undulating, entire, hygrophanising to pale orange 5A5. Lamellae adnate to subdecurrent, narrow, to 2 mm deep, pale green 27A3, thickish subdistant to distant, single tier of lamellulae, no gelatinous thread, edges concolorous with faces. Stipe: 33 mm long, 5.0 mm wide at apex, 4.0 mm wide at mid, 3.0 mm wide at base; CA, cyl, dry, glabrous, deep green as pileus at apex, pale orange 5A5 at base, this colour gradually moving towards the apex, stuffed inner context, reflecting outside coloration, tapering towards base. Odour: none. Spores 6 x 4 µm, 7.5 x 4 µm. Clamp obs. on hyphae + basidia, encrustations on 'basidioles'? Pileipellis: ixocutis x 250, x500. [Descriptive notes and sketches by G.M. Gates.]
