Occurrence remarks Small young tree among indigenous shrubs on forest edge. Presumably self sown from trees in adjacent gardens. Leaves light green, new growth somewhat bronzy. A few plants scattered along forest edge, including young seedlings.

Habitat Growing in mostly cleared and mown firebreak on edge of wet sclerophyll forest of Eucalyptus regnans with tall shrubby understorey including Pomaderris aspera, Pittosporum bicolor, Acacia dealbata and low ground layer of ferns and herbs in gaps in canopy. Numerous weedy shrubs and herbs escaping from adjacent private gardens.
