Field notes | Largest tree to 15 metres high x 15 metres across, multi-trunked. Bark box-like, grey, persistent to upper branches, then smooth. Branchlets pruinose, green or suffused red. Leaves coriaceous, thick, concolorous, strongly blue-green/blue-grey, dull, mildly scented when crushed (typical Eucalyptus scent). No buds seen. Stamens off-white, flowers sweetly scented. Young and immature hypanthia glaucous. Mature fruit green, more or less dull. |

Supplied as "Roadside remnant, as well as on private land on south side of the highway. On grey, sandy loam with limestone, but also on red, pebbly limestone on higher ground. Lower down it is associated with Eucalyptus largiflorens. Higher up is is associated with Eucalyptus dumosa (glaucous), and E. gracilis." |
