Occurrence remarks Locally abundant (>100 in one colony and smaller colonies and scattered plants nearby) orchid to 22 cm high. Leaves in a basal rosette of 3 or 4, dark green above, paler below; stem leaves 3 or 4 with most of the leaf around the culm. Flowers green and white; labellum on an angle to the sinus and with a brown mid line above. Digital images of this collection with John Hosking. At this location this orchid was still flowering in large numbers on 26 September 2010.

Habitat Landform: about 5 degree north west facing slope. Substrate: basalt. Soil: brown clay loam. Vegetation: Eucalyptus spp. and Angophora floribunda (Sm.) Sweet open forest with scattered Bursaria spinosa Cav., growing with Hydrocotyle peduncularis R.Br. ex A.Rich., Galium leiocarpum I.Thomps., Viola betonicifolia Sm. subsp. betonicifolia, Rumex brownii Campd., Geranium solanderi Carolin s. lat. (J.R.Hosking 2167), native grasses (vegetative at this time), Trifolium repens L. and Scleranthus gracilis J.G.West m.s.
