Occurrence remarks Locally common (>200, possibly initially planted at this location but also growing in bush behind Red Hill Hall) herb to 76 cm high. Flowers with 6 pinkish-red tepals, stamens 3, forming a ring around the style with anthers fixed by the base and spreading from the base. Style with 3 spreading branches, each branch between the anthers (on drying the stamen filaments appear to shrink so that the style branches appear to be well above the anthers).
