Occurrence remarks Locally frequent. Small shrub to 1 m tall, ascending branches from near base or occ. erect 1-axis. Bits tagged; A: flowering branches, flowers shed and few fruits set (or perhaps all dropped); B: apical portions of well-established (0.7 m) non-flowering plant ; C: seedling - on SHEET 2 OF 2 (NSW ) at NSW only. Leaves on juvenile plants and non-flowering axes are on average a bit longer than those on flowering axes.

Habitat
Supplied as "Narrow steep ridge above gorge, SW to NE aspects. Thin canopy of bloodwoods and ironbarks, with Zieria, Phebalium, Lomandra, Grevillea longistyla, Astrotricha pterocarpa wide, Acacia, Triodia. Fire 2-4 years ago; most Astro's immature. Sandstone; skeletal sandy soil."
