Event remarks | At this location 4 naturalised fruiting trees to 15m high as well as smaller non fruiting trees. These trees probably arose from a tree growing near the Roxy Theatre in Kyogle. Also 1000s of small trees below mature trees near Lynches Creek, and 100s of young trees growing below mature trees alongside Graveys Road, The Risk. Bark smooth, silvery grey. Leaves dark green above, paler below, veins raised on lower surface, base of lamina asymmetric. Berries green, ca 6mm wide and ca 7mm long on a pedicel 5-7mm long. Alongside a creek. Alluvial brown sandy loam. Riparian growing with Cinnamonum camphora (L.) J. Presl, Erythrina crista-galli L., Senna pendula (Willd.) H.S. Irwin and Barneby var. glabrata (Vogel) H.S.Irwin and Barneby and native trees. |
