Occurrence remarks Erect herb up to 20cm high; very narrow, barely scabrous leaves, a few serrations on margins. Flowers reddish-brown. Leaves mostly opposite, occasionally alternate.

Event remarks C. 60 individuals restricted to a small area, a couple metres diam. Most appear clonal. Original habitat: Just upslope of an ephemeral freshwater lagoon in periodically flooded Eucalyptus tereticornis, E. camaldulensis woodland. On a small levee bank. Substrate is deep fine sand with shallow leaf litter on the ground surface. Growing with sparse assortment of mostly native herbs and grasses, in a clump of regrowth E. tereticornis trees.
