Occurrence remarks | Woody vine to 20m long. Buds and young flowers whitish. Leaves glossy green, stems scabrid. Common vine on margins and roadsides at this locality. |

Event remarks | Collection from NE side of road. Crest of mountain range, on deep uniform red clay-loam soils derived from Tertiary basalt. Notophyll vine forest to 26m tall, dominated largely by Argyrodendron trifoliolatum, with minor Aphananthe philippinensis and Dendrocnide photinophylla, associated trees include Alangium villosum, Ficus superba, Olea paniculata and Harpullia pendula. Common shrubs include Cleistanthus cunninghamii and Alchornea ilicifolia. Lantana camara frequent on margins, largely absent within vine forest interior. |
