Disposition | in collection |
Occurrence remarks | Localised, with two small colonies. Growing in a loose colony with other orchids present. Fairly erest leaves, hairy, lanceolate up to 180 mm x 12 mm; red base. Deep wine red flowers held out then down. No perfume noticed. One or two flowers per stem. Stem up to 300 mm. Pollination had occurred. These plants were growing in the same location as cream coloured flowers which have a red labellum tip. The red flowers (these) appear to flower first, although there is a lot of overlap. Intermediates seem to be present. |
