Locality Flinders Island, Furneaux Group, Bass Straits. On Robertdale about 1.450 km ± east sou' east of Marshall Bay's nor' eastern inlet.
Habitat Under the southern edge of Melaleuca squarrosa (to 7.2 m) at the northern edge of an extensive swamp. Cassinia aculeata (c. 60%) and co-dominant M. squarrosa extend to 15 m south of the edge. One local L. affinis (to 3.6 m) as understorey to the tall M. squarrosa of the edge. Gahnia tufida and Dianella tasmanica run along the edge with Tetragonia implexicoma (c. 60%) amongst, and in parts, over them. Conospermum volubile is present here.
