Field notes Locally frequent (many 100s of plants) iris to 1.2 m high. Leaves concolorous, green. Pods green. Flowers were predominantly blue (G. C. Prichard pers. comm. and digital image, 16 November 2004). This species is invading the edge of a swamp.
