Occurrence remarks Common herbs to 30 cm tall, glaucus with a greyish hue overall, softly spinescent; inflorescence a round papery structure with a wide rose/pinkish ring around the rim then a yellow ring and a green centre. Voucher for DNA material at CNS.

Locality Bowra Wildlife Sanctuary, c. 8.2 km west north west of Bowra homestead which is 11.5 km north west of Cunnamulla.
Habitat Growing in mid-tall (6-8 m) Acacia aneura open forest on a low tableland strewn with rocks. Shrub layer of a few low Phyllanthus and Prostanthera suborbicularis amongst a sparse layer of tussock grass that resembles a hummock grassland, dominated by porcupine grass and Aristida with Eragrostis as a subdominant with a myriad of herbs flowering including Brunonia australis, Sida filiformis, Evolvulus alsinoides, Swainsona and Asteraceae spp.
