Organism remarks | Erect, open, multi-stemmed annual shrub with cottony-woolly stem and glandular hairs 420 mm long x 410 mm wide. Leaf mostly linear, revolute, hairy close to stem, sheathing from base to top of stem, decreasing in size up stem, lower leaves cuneate 17-35 mm long x 1-4 mm wide. Flower yellow, circular, top-shaped 8 mm wide in corymbose head 25-60 mm across. Involucral bracts yellow, erect 5 mm long, blade fimbriate 3 mm long, stipe resinous with glandular hairs. Achene cylindrical, glabrous 0.5 mm long. Pappus bristles few (4-8), sticky, barbellate, ending in dense yellow tufts 4 mm long. Thyme/sage smell. |
