Occurrence remarks | Scrambling or climbing vine to 3.4 m on supporting vegetation. Leaves hastate, lamina to 10.5 cm long and to 9.5 cm wide, grooved on upper surface. Petiole dull red with tiny green spots; base often geniculate so that leaf points skyward. Flowers axillary, campanulate. Peduncle 10.75 cm long in flower, exceeding leaves. Bracts on pedicel 2, 20 mm long and 20 mm wide, keeled so that they look ~10 mm wide, pale green but darker than sepals. Sepals 5, very pale green, lanceolate, 15.5 mm long, 6 mm wide, tiny mucro at tip. Corolla of 5 fused white petals 7 cm long. Style 28 mm long, white, stigma bifid, each 3 mm long and 1 mm wide knobbly, ovary matt yellow. Staminal filaments broadened in basal half where minutely glandular white hairy, upper part glabrous. Anthers 2 mm long, basifixed with short auricles 0.9 mm long |
