Occurrence remarks Wooroonooran National Park, West Mulgrave Falls. Mesophyll-notophyll rainforest below falls on soil derived from metasediments, many granite and metasediment boulders. Canopy: Xanthostemon, Castanospermum, Argyrodendron peralatum and Alstonia scholaris. Small trees and shrubs: Mallotus polyadenos, Cryptocarya vulgaris, Gossia myrsinocarpa, Arytera pauciflora and Psychotria dallachiana. Tussocky sedge growing in permanent soak in rock crack. Culms spreading, not erect. Common in area under falls.
