Event remarks | Royal Geographic Society Queensland/Australian Geographic Scientific Survey. White sandstone pavement just below edge of scarp. Open shrubland of Melaleuca uncinata with emergent Acacia burdekinensis, A. shirleyi, and mallee Corymbia trachyphloic. Shrubs - Persoonia falcata, Grevillea decora,G. sessilis, Hovea lanceolata, Lythomyrtus, Acacia multisiliqua. Occasional Triodia sp. Soil - skeletal white sand derived from quartzose sandstone. Narrow erect open shrub to 2.5m. |
