Occurrence remarks | Shrubs or small erect trees to 6 m high, possibly spreading via root system. Plants were not seen in the neighbouring paddock and were grazed to where stock could reach them through, and over, the fence. Only location where this Acacia has been seen. Bark grey and separating from trunk on older trees but mostly firmly appressed with outer surface in plates. Young stems glabrous. Phyllodes erect to spreading, 4-7.5 cm long, 3-6 mm wide, straight or slightly curved, grey-green, glabrous, no veins visible on fresh material, tip curved and hardened (although tip often missing), small gland close to pulvinus. 30-50 flowers per head, flowers golden, only a few open at this time, most still in bud. No pods evident on 2 October 2005 although some flowers still present. No pods seen later in the year |
