Locality | Located on freehold land (Lot 89 on WS718) in Guanaba at the very end of Guanaba Creek Road, approx 13km WNW of Nerang. Property is known as the Guanaba Indigenous Protection Area. |
Habitat |
Supplied as "Moderately intact sclerophyll forest on the upper slopes of an undulated ridgeline that is part of the plateau retreat associated with Guanaba Gorge and its tributaries. The canopy layer was commonly comprised of Eucalyptus propinqua and Lophostemon confertus with E. carnea, E. siderophloia and E. microcorys also commonly recorded. The sub-canopy was comprised of canopy species with Euroschinus falcatus var. falcatus and Guioa semiglauca recorded infrequently. The tall shrub layer was comprised of Daviesia arborea, L. confertus and Acacia disparrima var. disparrima, while the low shrub layer was comprised of G. semiglauca, Cassinia subtropica, Alyxia ruscifolia, Zieria collina, Notelaea longifolia var. glabra and upper strata species. The groundcover was variously comprised of Lomandra spp., Themeda triandra, Adiantum hispidulum, Aphanopetalum resinosum, Dioscorea transversa and Entolasia stricta." |
