Identification remarks | Intermediate between subsp. aspera and subsp. parviceps. Heads are large with long eglanular bracteoles, and peduncles are long and slender with long glandular hairs. Plants have long slender peduncles with long glandular hairs similar to those of A. aspera subsp. parviceps, however the heads resemble the typical form, being c. 40–50-flowered, with eglandular bracteoles. |
