Occurrence remarks Canopy: Ficus variegata, Castanospermum, Dysoxylum parasiticum, Aleurites, Pouteria myrsinodendron, Argyrodendron polyandrum & Elaeocarpus grandis. Small trees\shrubs: Myristica, Acmenosperma, Cosiaeum, Pisonia umbellifera, Cleidion & Glycosmis. Dendrocnide photinophylla conspicuous. Archontophoenix & Ptychosperma occasional. Prostrate herb with subterranean stolons. Leaves erect, very pale below, nearly like a seedling lead of Piper. Rare in area, forms small colonies like a Hydrocotyle.

Habitat Mesophyll rain forest in gully with notophyll elements, very rocky, soil derived from granite. Canopy: Ficus variegata, Castanospermum, Dysoxylum parasiticum, Aleurites, Pouteria myrsinodendron, Argyrodendron polyandrum & Elaeocarpus grandis. Small trees\shrubs: Myristica, Acmenosperma, Cosiaeum, Pisonia umbellifera, Cleidion & Glycosmis. Dendrocnide photinophylla conspicuous. Archontophoenix & Ptychosperma occasional.
