Occurrence remarks | Erect herbaceous plant to c. 70cm tall. Lower stems become slightly woody. Leaves discolourous with 'velcro-like' hairs on both surfaces (cling to other leaves, paper, etc). Inflorescences axillary, on peduncles which elongate with maturity. Flowers tiny, clustered in heads, maturing cream-yellow. Common herb in moist shaded bully, growing beneath Millettia pinnata and Cupaniopsis anacardioides. Sandy soil developed over granite. Collected as part of the Northern Australia Quarantine Strategy. |
