Occurrence remarks Tufted perennial grass c. 50cm high, burrs very dark purple. Growing with small inflorescence form of Cenchrus ciliaris. Ass. sp. Acacia estrophiolata, Eremophila sturtii, Triodia basedowii and Cenchrus ciliaris.
