Field notes | One tree at collection point but about 15 further up slope (as viewed from nearby rock outcrop). This tree about 8 m high. Ironbark with dark grey bark at base, brown bark higher up and ends of branches with smooth yellow-green bark. Leaves grey-green. Compound inflorescence with some umbels of up to 6 flowers seen. Buds swollen just below operculum. Filaments of stamens pale yellow (more yellow than cream). Outer stamens infertile, anthers cuboid. Fruit about 10 mm long and about 7 mm wide, valves included (not visible |
