Field notes Succulent shrub to c. 1 m high (inflorescence); plant to c. 2 m wide or more. Colour dets.: stems peduncles and pedicel slightly glaucous; leaves slightly glaucous abaxially and adaxially, especially proximally. Greyed-green 194 abaxially at base, to yellow-green 146B (most of lamina) edge dark crimson-red; peduncle (at darkest) greyed-orange, likewise pedicels, torus and sepals; corolla yellow-green (shaded side) to red 42B (at darkest), lightly glaucous; filaments yellow-green, pollen pale yellow; styles darker yellow-green. Annot.: G.W. Carr.¶Leaves to 14.5 x 8.5 cm. Corolla tube 21 - 25 mm long. Annot.: V. Stajsic.
