Occurrence remarks Erect tree ca 7-8 m high, with umbrageous crown (see photo enclosed on herbarium sheet) [not on sheet]. Bark blotched pale grey and brown outside. Blaze biscuit-cream. Wood creamy with a pink or grey tinge. Young outer leaves light dull green above, mature inner leaves becoming rather dark dull green above, both paler and glossier below; leaves with faint sweet aroma when crushed; flowers pale maroon, the outermost perianth segment pale green dorsally. Flowers in alcohol. Wood sample collected. ANHspirit 2786. [FAA (or unknown) liquid changed to Bang Mix 2021.]
