Habitat
Supplied as "Common to dominant grass 1.3m tall in a limited area of standing water along road drain and in adjacent seasonal swampy areas in Eucalyptus leptophleba open forest on alluvial plains dominated by Themeda quadrivalvis. Other plants in drain include Cyperus decompositus, Ludwigia octovalvis, Echinochloa colona, Marsilea crenata, Monochoria cyanea and Nymphoides crenata."
