Occurrence remarks | Sterile specimen. scrambling vine with semi-succulent glossy leaves. Lower stems with clusters of 2-3 cm needle-like spines at nodes. Upper stems with recurved spines or thorns in leaf axils. Flower-like vegetative outgrowths in upper axils of some branches. Photos (BMW). Garden remnant climbing to several metres in adjacent shrubs. Collected as part of the Northern Australia Quarantine Strategy. |
